A working ranch in the heart of the northern Colo. foothills, creating a beautiful landscape for photos + small ceremony events.
Nestled alongside Lone Pine Creek in the picturesque valley near Livermore, Colorado, the Hansen ranch is not just a working ranch. It’s the product of a five-generation family agriculture business, the home place of three generations of family ranchers, and an inextricable part of the story of this land.
Here, you’ll find the familiar characters and set pieces of ranch life: Rolling green and golden hay fields. Ranchers on horseback. Cows paired with their new calves. Horses dotting pastures as they graze, tails blowing in the breeze. You’ll see the familiar safety of the loafing sheds, the historical calving sheds, the iconic white and red barn, the curved metallic gleam of the Quonset hut. You’ll hear the calming bubble of the creek and watch the shadows of towering cottonwoods and willows dapple the water. You’ll be greeted by the wildlife – deer, elk and antelope and a numerous variety of birds – who also call this place home. These are not just relics of a romanticized and remote way of life, but markers of a working ranch that is real and alive.
This beautiful place is the product of decades of our family’s hard work and love. It’s our commitment to the long and rich heritage of agriculture in the Mountain West. Your time at the Hansen ranch is not only a window to see this history and landscape, but a rare opportunity to feel its magic. We call it our own slice of heaven. Inquire below for your chance to experience it yourself.
